OPERATION SCHOOL BELL PROVIDES NEW CLOTHING AND SHOES TO ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE BELLINGHAM AND WHATCOM COUNTY AREA. UNDER OPERATION SCHOOL BELL IS THE TEEN TEAM PROGRAM, A VOUCHER SYSTEM FOR HOMELESS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO PURCHASE CLOTHING AND SHOES AS WELL AS BOOKS AND BEYOND, A PROGRAM THAT SELECTS AND PURCHASES BOOKS FOR CHILDREN AGES 0 TO 18 TO PROMOTE LITERACY AND LIFELONG LEARNING. 1803 STUDENTS WERE PROVIDED WITH ITEMS DURING THE YEAR.


EATING HEALTHY PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS TO ENCOURAGE GROWING & EATING ORGANIC FRUITS & VEGETABLES.


ENRICHMENT SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO QUALIFYING YOUTH IN THE BELLINGHAM AND WHATCOM COUNTY AREA ON A YEARLY BASIS. 85 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED DURING THE YEAR.


CARE CENTER SUPPORT PROVIDES HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR RESIDENTS IN LOCAL NURSING HOMES. 121 CARE CENTER RESIDENTS WERE REMEMBERED WITH GIFTS.
