ERADICATE MALARIA: SRSF WAS SELECTED BY THE BILL & MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION TO ACT AS THE FISCAL SPONSOR TO FACILITATE PROVIDING UP TO $750,000 IN MATCHING SUPPORT FOR ROTARY MALARIA PROJECTS, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MALARIA PARTNERS INT'L, WHICH INCLUDE SUPPORTING COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS IN ZAMBIA, PROVIDING INDOOR MOSQUITO SPRAYING IN GHANA, AND PROVIDING MALARIA EDUCATION IN GAMBIA AND SENEGAL.

ROTARY BOY'S & GIRLS CLUB: MISC PROJECTS, A NEW VAN & PROJECTS


EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS: SRSF, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH UNITED NEGRO COLLEGE FUND, PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO 12 STUDENTS IN FISCAL YEAR 2023. THE SESSIONS ARE FACILITATED BY EXPERTS ON TOPICS SUCH AS PREPARING THE COLLEGE ESSAY, COMPLETING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS AND FINANCIAL AID FORMS, HELPING STUDENTS SELECT THEIR TOP FIVE COLLEGES OF INTEREST, PREPARING FOR THE SAT, OBTAINING TRANSCRIPTS, AND DEVELOPING STUDENT RESUMES AND LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION. EACH STUDENT MAKES A PRESENTATION OF THEIR COLLEGE PLANS, GOALS, AND THE CONTENTS OF THEIR PORTFOLIO. THEN, THE STUDENTS ARE PAIRED WITH MENTORS TO ASSIST THEM IN COMPLETING THEIR FINAL PRESENTATION AND PORTFOLIO.
