SERVED 79 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FOR WHOM ENGLISH IS A NON-NATIVE LANGUAGE IN OUR IMMERSION PROGRAM BY PROVIDING INSTRUCTION OF ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE IN A SAFE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT STRUCTURED TO PROMOTE BASIC COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND MORE COMPLEX ACADEMIC SKILLS BASED ON ABILITY LEVELS, AND PROVIDE EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT AMERICAN CULTURE THROUGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS, EVENTS, OUTINGS AND TRIPS.
