SOCIAL SERVICE-IN 2021 PROVIDED HOUSING ASSISTANCE, FIND HEALTH AND CARE RESOURCES, PROVIDE REFERRALS TO SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES, AND HELP WITH FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS AND RENTAL ASSISTANCE FOR THOSE FACING IMMINENT EVICTIONS. - IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION HELPED 489 FAMILIES TO GET ACCESSES TO HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAMS BY EITHER REFERRING THEM OR HELPING THEM TO FILL OUT AND SUBMIT ALL THE REQUIRED PAPER WORKS AND DOCUMENTS
YOUTH PROGRAM-IN 2021 THE ORGANIZATION HELPED SOMALI YOUTH FOR PROVIDING YOUTH PROGRAMS FOR 320 HOUSEHOLDS SUCH AS AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK HELP, SPORTS-BASED EVENTS AND EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES FOR PARENTS TO HELP OUR YOUTH STAY AWAY CRIME AND INCREASE THEIR SCHOOL GRADUATION RATES IN OUR COMMUNITY
