SOMALI IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES THROUGH ADVOCACY. ONE OF THE MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS IS PUTTING TOGETHER AN ANNUAL HEALTH FAIR FOR THIS COMMUNITY WHERE PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE FREE-HEALTHCARE SCREENING. 1) HELD SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL HEALTH FAIR AND AUTISM AWARENESS EVENTS THAT ATTRACTED 350 COMMUNITY MEMBERS COMBINED.2) SUCCESSFUL ENROLLED AND ACTIVELY ENGAGE KIDS IN HEALTHLY ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.3) IN COLLABORATION WITH THE HEALTH BOARDS COALITIONS, ADVOCATED FOR INTERNATIONAL MEDIAL GRADUATES TO GET IN RESIDENCY PROGRAMS IN WA.
