GLOBAL NEIGHBORHOOD PROVIDES JOB TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO FORMER REFUGEES SO THEY CAN GAIN THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NECESSARY TO FIND LONG-TERM EMPLOYMENT. IN 2023, GLOBAL NEIGHBORHOOD EMPLOYED 25 FORMER REFUGEES IN OUR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND PAID THEM COLLECTIVELY OVER $600,000 IN WAGES. ADDITIONALLY, WE PROVIDED WORKPLACE-FOCUSED ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES TO 34 REFUGEES AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING TO 15 REFUGEES.
