NORTHWEST GIRLCHOIR REVOLUTIONIZES CHORAL EDUCATION BY REJOICING IN STUDENTS' VOICES AND CREATIVITY THROUGH EMBODIED MUSIC-MAKING. GUIDED BY OUR COMMITMENT TO ANTI-RACISM, WE INSPIRE JOY, BELONGING, AND CONFIDENCE, AND CULTIVATE COMMUNITY THROUGH SHARED EXPERIENCE. OUR TREBLE CHOIRS WELCOME AND AFFIRM GIRLS AND ALL YOUTH MARGINALIZED BY GENDER.

CHORAL EDUCATION PROGRAM: OUR PROFESSIONALLY-LED MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM IS DEDICATED TO DEVELOPING INDEPENDENT MUSICIANSHIP, CREATIVITY, TEAMWORK, AND SELF-CONFIDENCE FOR YOUTH IN GRADES 1-12. TREBLE CHOIRS ARE ORGANIZED PRIMARILY BY AGE TO SUPPORT SOCIAL, VOCAL, AND DEVELOPMENTAL LEARNING NEEDS.


SUMMER SING CAMP: THIS WEEK-LONG SUMMER DAY CAMP BRINGS TOGETHER SINGERS IN GRADES 2-7 FOR MUSICAL EXPLORATION, ARTS & CRAFTS, AND OUTDOOR FUN. CHORISTERS FROM OUR OLDER CHOIRS SERVE AS COUNSELORS AND COUNSELORS-IN-TRAINING, MENTORING THE CAMPERS MUSICALLY AND SOCIALLY ALONGSIDE PROFESSIONAL ARTISTIC STAFF.


TOURING: REGULAR TOURS OFFER REGISTERED CHORISTERS IN 3RD-12TH GRADE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM FOR NEW AUDIENCES, EXPLORE OTHER CULTURES, AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN THEIR CHOIR. INCLUDED ARE LOCAL DAY-TOURS TO SCHOOLS/RETIREMENT HOMES, REGIONAL CHORAL FESTIVALS, AND LONGER INTERNATIONAL TOURS.


CONCERT SERIES: NORTHWEST GIRLCHOIR PERFORMS SEVEN CHORAL CONCERTS ANNUALLY AT A VARIETY OF VENUES AROUND PUGET SOUND. SIX TREBLE CHOIRS PERFORM WITH PROFESSIONAL CONDUCTORS, INSTRUMENTALISTS, AND OCCASIONAL GUEST ARTISTS.
