WE PROVIDED OUR MEMBERS WITH A VENUE TO MEET WEEKLY. WE HELD WEEKLY PROGRAMS THAT ADDRESSED SOCIAL AND CIVIC ISSUES IN OUR COMMUNITY. OUR MOTTO IS SERVICE ABOVE SELF AND TO THAT END OUR MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN OUR BACKPACK PROGRAM WHERE WE FILL BACKPACKS WITH FOOD EVERY FRIDAY FOR SEVERAL SCHOOLS IN BURLINGTON; WE ORGANIZE FOOD, DIAPER, CLOTHES DRIVES; OUR MEMBERS SUPPORTED THE LOCAL YOUTH THROUGH SPONSORSHIP OF THE INTERACT CLUB AND THE YES PROGRAM; WE WERE A SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTOR OF FUNDS AND SERVICE HOURS TO THE SKAGIT READ WEEK. OUR MEMBERS DONATE SIGNIFICANT HOURS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY IN OUR LOCAL AND WORLD COMMUNITIES.
