TRANSPORTATION SERVICES INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION - AUTHORIZE AND SCHEDULE MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION TO COVERED MEDICAL SERVICES FOR MEDICAID RECIPIENTS LIVING IN CLARK, COWLITZ, KLICKITAT, SKAMANIA AND WAHKIAKUM COUNTIES.EMPLOYMENT TRANSPORTATION - TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR LOW-INCOME PEOPLE INCLUDING SENIORS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES IN CLARK COUNTY NEEDING TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYMENT SITES, JOB TRAINING, JOB SEARCHES, JOB INTERVIEWS, AND OTHER WORK-RELATED ACTIVITIES.THE RESERVE-A-RIDE PROGRAM PROVIDES TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE WITH A DISABILITY OR OLDER CITIZENS WHO ARE RESIDENTS OF CLARK, COWLITZ, OR WAHKIAKUM COUNTIES THAT NEED TRANSPORTATION TO LIFE-SUSTAINING MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS, GENERAL MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS AND OTHER TRANSPORTATION AS FUNDING ALLOWS.VOLUNTEERS IN MOTION PROVIDES TRANSPORTATION THROUGH VOLUNTEER DRIVERS TO SENIORS AND THOSE WITH A DISABILITY LIVING IN CLARK COUNTY THAT DO NOT HAVE OTHER TRANSPORATION OPTIONS. THE VOLUNTEER CENTER INCLUDES MANY VOLUNTEER-BASED PROGRAMS INVOLVING VOLUNTEERS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 AND 54. THE RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (RSVP) SERVES VOLUNTEERS 55 YEARS AND OLDER. THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE VISTA AMERICORP PROGRAM.NORTH CLARK COUNTY SHUTTLE PROVIDES FREE SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION INTO BATTLE GROUND FOR MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS, SHOPPING, MEAL SITES, COMMUNITY SERVICES, SOCIALIZATION OPPORTUNITIES, AND MORE. THE SHUTTLE IS AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS OF NORTH CLARK COUNTY BASED ON GEOGRAPHIC AREA WHO ARE SENIORS, PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES OR THOSE SOCIALLY ISOLATED.
