DURING THIS 12 MONTH PERIOD, THE LAB, AN INTERACTIVE MUSEUM THAT FOCUSES ON CHILDREN AGES 2-12, WAS VISITED BY 25,574 INDIVIDUALS. THE LAB OFFERS FOUR HANDS-ON STEM EXPERIENCE AREAS: THE EXPERIMENT BAR, INSPIRATION HUB, TINKER SHOP AND DISCOVERY ZONE. COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS SERVED AN ADDITIONAL 13,122 INDIVIDUALS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO WORKED WITH PROJECT PARTNERS, DESIGNERS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO DEVELOP THE DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FACILITY, EXHIBITS AND PROGRAMS FOR THE FUTURE 70,000 SQ FT SCIENCE CENTER.
