THE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF JACKSONVILLE IS A HANDS-ON, INTERACTIVE MUSEUM FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN. IT IS A SPECIAL PLACE FOR THEM TO PLAY, IMAGINE, CREATE, EXPLORE, AND LEARN. THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE OF THIS ORGANIZATION SHALL BE: (A) TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND CLEAN FACILITY FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN TO INTERACT IN JACKSONVILLE, NC; (B) TO SPONSOR, HOST, AND/OR PARTICIPATE IN EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE A HANDS-ON, INTERACTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES; (C) TO BE A PLACE WHERE EDUCATION CAN CONTINUE OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM AND CAN BRIDGE LEARNING FROM PUBLIC, PRIVATE, AND HOMESCHOOL CURRICULA.
