FOUNDED IN 2022, THE XELA INSTITUTE OF ART IS ONE OF THE FEW INDEPENDENT, NON-COLLECTING INSTITUTIONS IN THE COUNTRY AND THE ONLY MUSEUM IN LONG BEACH DEDICATED TO THE PRESENTATION OF CONTEMPORARY ART ALONGSIDE MUSIC, POETRY, AND OTHER PERFORMANCE PROGRAMMING.
