OPERATION OF A PUBLIC ART MUSEUM, WHICH IS GENERALLY OPEN SIX DAYS PER WEEK. ON MARCH 15, 2020, IN RESPONSE TO THE WORLDWIDE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE MUSEUM CLOSED ITS GALLERIES TO THE PUBLIC. THE GALLERIES REMAINED CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL MAY 15, 2021. IN ORDER TO CONTINUE SERVING THE MUSEUM-GOING COMMUNITY ONLINE, THE MUSEUM'S STAFF CONDUCTED ROBUST ONLINE EDUCATIONAL AND CURATORIAL PROGRAMMING THROUGHOUT THE MUSEUM'S PUBLIC CLOSURE PERIOD.
