THE CORPORATION WILL APPLY THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES IN EACH OF THE PROGRAM AREAS DESCRIBED BELOW: 1) SHARE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES TO INCREASE THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF HOW DIVERSITY IS AN ESSENTIAL RESOURCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND WELLBEING. 2) INVOLVE LOCAL COMMUNITIES, RESPECT AND STRENGTHEN THE COMMUNITIES CUSTOMARY KNOWLEDGE AND LANGUAGE SYSTEMS, AND GENERATE TOOLS AND FINDINGS ON DIVERSITY THAT CAN BE USED BY COMMUNITIES GLOBALLY, IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE COMMUNITY BENEFITS FROM EMBRACING SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DIVERSITY. 3) INTEGRATE LOCAL, REGIONAL, AND GLOBAL ISSUES TO EMPHASIZE THE COMMON AND SHARED RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN AND SUPPORT DIVERSITY IN BOTH DEVELOPING AND DEVELOPED COUNTRIES. 4) PRESENT GLOBAL AND INTERNATIONAL TRENDS, CHALLENGES, AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMBRACING THE USE OF DIVERSE IDEAS AND PRACTICES, DIVERSE PRODUCTION SYSTEMS, DIVERSE CULTURES, DIVERSE GENDER IDENTITIES, BEHAVIORS, AND NORMS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SUPPORTING FOREIGN ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE MISSIONS ALIGN WITH THE CORPORATIONS CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES.
