IN OUR TRAINING PROGRAMS INCLUDING WORKSHOPS, PRACTICUM IN SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE, INCUBATOR, AND AGRICULTURAL PARK, WE TRAINED AND PROVIDED ACCESS TO LAND INFRASTRUCTURE, EQUIPMENT, MARKETING AND CAPITAL TO 265 FARMERS. WE MADE 119 ACRES OF CERTIFIED FARMLAND AVAILABLE TO THESE PARTICIPANTS.
OUR SALES PROGRAM INCLUDING WHOLESALE, CSA BOXES AND EMERGENCY FOOD BOXES REACHED A GROSS REVENUE OF $682,628 OF PRODUCE SOLD THROUGH VIVA FARMS. IN ADDITION TO THESE SALES, FARMERS SOLD $1,480,699 DIRECTLY THROUGH THEIR OWN MARKETS FOR A TOTAL SALES NUMBER OF $2,163,327 FOR THE YEAR.
