COMMUNITY SUPPORT/VICTIM SERVICES AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCACY: VARIOUS PROGRAMS DIRECTED AT ASSISTING CLIENTS AS WELL AS VICTIMS OF CRIME BY PROVIDING SHELTER, CRISIS INTERVENTION, SAFETY PLANNING, TRANSPORTATION, COUNSELING, ASSISTING LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH PROPERTY RETURNS, EDUCATION, AND ASSISTANCE IN FILING FOR VICTIM COMPENSATION.
WORK FORCE DEVELOPMENT: COMMUNITY CHEST, INC. ASSISTS CLIENTS WITH IMMEDIATE NEEDS; FINDING EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS THAT DIRECTLY BENEFIT CLIENTS. THIS PROGRAM IS OFFERED IN FERNLEY, SILVER SPRINGS, DAYTON, AND VIRGINIA CITY.

OUR ENVIRONMENT WILL HELP TO NURTURE BOTH SOCIAL AND ACADEMIC SKILLS THROUGH OUR PLAY-BASED LEARNING MODEL. WE PROVIDE BREAKFAST AND SNACKS, ASSIST CHILDREN IN HOMEWORK, READING, SOCIAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, RECREATION AND THEME-BASED ACTIVITIES TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF YOUTH. WE PARTNER WITH STOREY COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT TO PROVIDE AN ALL-ENCOMPASSING APPROACH. DUE TO COVID-19, WE HAVE HAD TO TEMPORARILY CEASE COW BUS ACTIVITIES IN STOREY, AND LYON COUNTIES.
