IN FY23, WITH THE LEADERSHIP OF A COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE, THE HEALTH EQUITY FUND INVESTED IN PROGRAMS, SERVICES, AND EVIDENCE-BASED INTERVENTIONS FOCUSED ON COMMUNITIES WITH DISPROPORTIONATE BURDENS OF POOR HEALTH OUTCOMES. TARGETED AREAS OF HEALTH DISPARITY FOR HEALTH EQUITY FUND INVESTMENT INCLUDED SUBSTANCE USE AND TREATMENT, MENTAL AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, ACCESS TO CARE, MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH, COVID-19, UNDERLYING CONDITIONS, AND FOOD ACCESS.
