HONOR THE PROMISE ASSISTS NEWLY ARRIVED MEMBERS OF THE AFGHAN SPECIAL OPPERATIONS COMMUNITY AND THEIR FAMILIES BUILD RESILIENCE AS THEY RESETTLE IN THE U.S. OUR FOUR LINES OF EFFORT ARE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, YOUTH EMPOWERMENT, HOLISTIC HEALTH, AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT. HONOR THE PROMISE'S VISION IS THAT IN LESS THAN A DECADE, AFGAN REFUGEES SAY WITH PRIDE AND PURPOSE "I BELONG HERE HAVING SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATED AT THE COMMUNITY LEVEL, BUILT THE RESILIENCE TO THRIVE, AND ACHIEVED THEIR AMERICAN DREAM.

WORKSHOPS ALSO INCLUDED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS AND TRAINING FOR AMERICAN VETERAN MENTORS TO HELP THEM PROVIDE SUPPORT TO REFUGEES THROUGHOUT RESETTLEMENT.
