ASYLEE WOMEN ENTERPRISE (AWE), JOURNEYS WITH ASYLUM SEEKERS AND OTHER FORCED MIGRANTS AS THEY NAVIGATE THE IMMIGRATION LEGAL PROCESS, BEGIN TO HEAL FROM PAST TRAUMA, AND REBUILD THEIR LIVES IN BALTIMORE.

OUR DEDICATED STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE HOLISTIC SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO HUNDREDS OF IMMIGRANTS EACH YEAR. IN 2022, WE DISTRIBUTED 40,587 POUNDS OF FOOD TO THE COMMUNITY, 24,499 DIAPERS, AND NEARLY $350,000 IN RENTAL AND EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE. TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY FOREIGN-BORN SURVIVORS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND ASYLUM SEEKERS RECEIVED INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES AND 29 CHILDREN AND ADULTS WERE HOUSED THROUGH OUR TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM.
