ISF ADVISORS MOBILIZES CAPITAL FOR A MORE STABLE, EQUITABLE, AND PRODUCTIVE GLOBAL FOOD SYSTEM.

ISF IS PART OF A 5-YEAR USDA FUNDED INITIATIVE TO PROMOTE CASHEW PROCESSING IN WEST AFRICA, IN ORDER TO GENERATE JOBS AND REDUCE THE CARBON FOOTPRINT OF RAW CASHEWS BEING SHIPPED TO ASIA FOR PROCESSING. ISF IS LEADING THE DESIGN AND LAUNCH OF A FACILITY THAT WILL INCENTIVIZE ACCESS TO LONG-TERM WORKING CAPITAL FOR CASHEW PROCESSORS. ISF ALSO PROVIDES MATCHMAKING SUPPORT TO LINK AGRO-PROCESSORS TO RELEVANT SOURCES OF DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN FINANCING.

ISF IS PART OF A MULTI-YEAR USAID-FUNDED INITIATIVE TO CONSTRUCT AN AGRICULTURAL TRADE & LOGISTICS CLUSTER (TLC) IN BUSIA, UGANDA. THE TLC, SITUATED BY THE KENYAN BORDER, WILL PROVIDE THE INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF UGANDA'S GRAIN EXPORTS TO INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS. AS THE LEAD TRANSACTION ADVISOR, ISF HAS I) ASSESSED THE FINANCIAL AND COMMERCIAL VIABILITY OF THE PROJECT, II) DESIGNED AND STRUCTURED THE INVESTMENT VEHICLE, AND III) WILL HELP SECURE THE NECESSARY INVESTMENT FOR THE PROJECT.


ISF IS PART OF AN ALLIANCE WITH TECHNOSERVE AND PARTNERS IN FOOD SOLUTIONS TO PROVIDE CUSTOMIZED ASSISTANCE TO FOOD PROCESSORS IN FIVE COUNTRIES, INCREASING THE VOLUME SUPPLIED BY SMALLHOLDERS, AND DOUBLING THE PROCESSORS' SALE OF NUTRITIOUS FOODS TO VULNERABLE POPULATIONS. ISF'S DEDICATED ACCESS TO FINANCE MANAGER FACILITATES LINKAGES TO APPROPRIATE FORMS OF INVESTMENT FOR PROCESSORS. ISF HAS MOBILIZED OVER $8 MILLION IN FINANCING FOR AGRO-PROCESSORS THAT PRODUCE NUTRITIOUS FOODS.
