TOXIC-ACMT TOXICOLOGY INVESTIGATORS CONSORTIUM, KNOWN AS "TOXIC", IS A NETWORK OF MEDICAL TOXICOLOGISTS CREATED TO PROMOTE MULTI-CENTER RESEARCH IN MEDICAL TOXICOLOGY AND TO ENABLE THE NATIONWIDE COLLECTION OF IMPORTANT TOXICOLOGICAL DATA FROM PATIENTS AT THE BEDSIDE.
PROVIDE MEDICAL TOXICOLOGY EXPERTISE AND TRAINING TO COMMUNITIES IN SUPPORT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, OFFICE OF HEALTH AFFAIRS, CHEMICAL DEFENSE PROGRAM (DHS/OHA/CDP) AND CHEMICAL SECURITY ANALYSTS CENTER (DHS/CSAC).
