THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROMOTE THE SCIENCE AND ART OF MEDICINE, THE BETTERMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, THE WELFARE OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION AND THE PATIENTS IT SERVES, AND TO PROMOTE THE SIMILAR INTERESTS OF ITS COMPONENT COUNTY AND DISTRICT MEDICAL SOCIETIES. THE SOCIETY'S MEMBERS ARE LOCATED IN THE STATE OF COLORADO AND THE MAJORITY OF ITS REVENUES ARE DERIVED FROM MEMBERSHIP DUES.
