DESPITE PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS, CONTINUED TO OFFER CRISIS/RESPITE NURSERY SERVICES ALL YEAR AND DID NOT CLOSE FOR EVEN ONE DAY. THE ONLY CIRCLES SITE IN THE STATE OF UTAH TO MAINTAIN COMPLETE SERVICE DELIVERY OF THE PROGRAM DURING THE PANDEMIC. WORKED WITH DAVIS COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGER TO QUARANTINE HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 IN HOTELS AND COORDINATE TRACING SERVICES WITH DAVIS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. STARTED DOING DAILY STREET OUTREACH TO FIND HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AND LINKING THEM TO SERVICES; PREVIOUSLY, WE WERE ONLY DOING PERIODIC STREET OUTREACH WHEN NOTIFIED BY A COMMUNITY PARTNER THAT THEY HAD OBSERVED A HOMELESS SITUATION. RAMPED UP TO PROVIDE RENTAL ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE IMPACTED BY COVID-19; DISTRIBUTED THE SECOND HIGHEST AMOUNT OF MONEY IN THE STATE DESPITE SALT LAKE COUNTY BEING FOUR TIMES LARGER THAN DAVIS COUNTY; AND FOR THE LAST SIX MONTHS OF THE YEAR, MAINTAINED ONE OF THE LOWEST ERROR RATES STATEWIDE FOR APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED AS WELL AS THE SHORTEST TIMES FOR CLIENTS WAITING TO BE CONTACTED. OPEN DOORS RECEIVED REPEATED RECOGNITION AT THE STATE AND COUNTY LEVELS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE DELIVERY IN DISTRIBUTING RENT ASSISTANCE FUNDING. INCREASED NUMBER OF FOOD DROPS AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH OTHER PANTRIES DESPITE DECREASED NUMBERS OF VOLUNTEERS AND VOLUNTEER HOURS DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.
