Part 3
HEAD UP, HEELS DOWN HAD A GREAT FIRST YEAR PROVIDING CLASSES TO YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY EVERY WEEK. AS WE BUILT MOMENTUM AND GAINED EXPOSURE, OUR CLASSES WERE AT CAPACITY EACH WEEK AND OUR KIDS WERE ALWAYS SO EXCITED TO COME BACK. WE WERE ABLE TO COVER TOPICS LIKE VETERINARY CARE, NUTRITION, EXERCISE AND BASIC CARE FOR HORSES, AND PROVIDED HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES TO APPLY WHAT WAS LEARNED.
