THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS STATE HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL RODEO ACTIVITIES. THE PURPOSE OF THE RODEOS AND RELATED EXHIBITIONS IS TO INSTRUCT THE PUBLIC ON HISTORICAL AND CONTEMPORARY RANCH AND LIVESTOCK PRACTICES.

WSHSRA HOSTS SIXTEEN RODEOS DURING THE YEAR AND A THREE DAY STATE FINALS. THERE ARE ON AVERAGE 150 CONTESTANTS PARTICIPATING IN EACH RODEO. WSHSRA ALSO HOSTS A TWO DAY NORTHWEST JUNIOR RODEO FINALS, WHICH IS A RODEO EVENT WITH 250 CONTESTANTS, AS WELL AS A CLINIC THAT HAS APPROXIMATELY 150 PARTICIPANTS.
