IN 2023 GROWING GRACE FOCUSED SPECIFICALLY ON HELPING OUR STUDENTS WITH THEIR SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING BECAUSE RESEARCH HAS SHOWN THAT PEOPLE WHO FEEL CONFIDENT INTERACTING WITH THEIR PEERS HAVE HIGHER SELF ESTEEM, DO BETTER IN SCHOOL AND ARE MORE EAGER TO PARTICIPATE IN SCHOOL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. AT KINDERBLAST WE BELIEVE THAT A STUDENT WHO FEELS CONFIDENT IN THE SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SKILLS WILL BE MORE LIKELY TO LEAD A FULFILLING LIFE AND THESE DAYS, NOTHING COULD MORE IMPORTANT FOR OUR YOUNG STUDENTS. THE SUPPORT WE OFFERED THE STUDENTS ALSO TOOK SOME STRESS OFF OF THE FAMILIES WHO ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE EFFECTS OF THE PANDEMIC ON THEIR CHILDREN. WE HAVE HAD THREE COMMUNITY DAYS WHERE WE MEET WITH OUR STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES OFFSITE TO OFFER COMMUNITY SUPPORT, IE GARBAGE CLEAN UP AT LOCAL PARKS, WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY SUPPORTING OUR FAMILIES IN CONNECTING AND CREATING LASTING RELATIONSHIPS.
