WE AIM TO OPEN THE DOOR TO STEM CAREERS FOR STUDENTS BY PROVIDING THEM THE REWARDING STEM EXPERIENCES OF THE NEWTON CONCEPT, BOTH DURING AND AFTER SCHOOL. THE NEWTON CONCEPT BRINGS STEM TO STUDENTS IN A FUN, COLLABORATIVE, CONTEMPLATIVE, AND EXPERIENTIAL MANNER, TO ENABLE THEM TO EXPERIENCE SCIENCE AND MATH IN A DEEPER AND LESS FORMAL MANNER THAN TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM TEACHING. THEY ARE LED THROUGH REAL-WORLD, MISSION-DRIVEN STEM EXPERIENCES BY SPECIALLY TRAINED TEACHERS WHO VOLUNTEER TO TEACH IN NEWTON ROOMS, AND ARE OFFERED OPPORTUNITIES TO INTERACT WITH CURRENT STEM LEADERS AND SEE STEM IN INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS.
