THE HUMAN BIOLOGY ASSOCIATION HAS THREE PRIMARY PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2021. THE FIRST, THE HBA HOSTED ITS ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE IN A VIRTUAL FORMAT, ATTENDED BY 102 MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS.IN THIS CONFERENCE, SCIENTISTS GATHERED TO SHARE NEW RESEARCH AND IDEAS IN A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE FORMAT IN MARCH 2021. ADDITIONALLY, IN NOVEMBER 2021, WE ALSO HOSTED A SERIES OF WORKSHOPS FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS TO PREPARE THEM FOR FUTURE CAREERS IN HUMAN BIOLOGY. AS A SECOND ACCOMPLISHMENT, THE HBA SUPPORTS FREE ACCESS TO THE AMERICAN JOURNAL OF HUMAN BIOLOGY TO ALL ITS MEMBERS. FINALLY, THE HBA MAINTAINS A WEBSITE AND A WEEKLY PODCAST HIGHLIGHTING THE LATEST IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH.
