BALSAM MOON PRESERVE IS AN ORGANIZATION LOCATED IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSES OF EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON PROTECTING AND CONSERVING THE ENVIRONMENT. BALSAM MOON PRESERVE WILL CONDUCT ACTIVITIES FOCUSED ON EDUCATING RESIDENTS AND VISITORS OF BALSAM MOON ON THE IMPORTANCE OF CONSERVATION, SUSTAINABILITY, AND VIABLE ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES. NORTHERN MINNESOTA IS KNOWN FOR ITS NATURAL RESOURCES, INCLUDING FRESH WATER, FORESTS, AND WILDLIFE. THERE ARE MANY THREATS TO THE STATE'S RESOURCES INCLUDING INVASIVE SPECIES, CLIMATE CHANGE, AND THE MISTREATMENT OF LAND AND MISMANAGEMENT OF WATER THROUGHOUT THE STATE. BALSAM MOON PRESERVE WILL PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES THROUGH UNIQUE WORKSHOPS DESIGNED TO INCREASE AWARENESS AND PROVIDE ALTERNATIVE MEANS FOR UTILIZING AND LIVING ON THE LAND IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA IN A SUSTAINABLE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MANNER.
