YOUTH ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION - IMPLEMENTING A FULL SUITE OF K-12, YOUNG ADULT, AND FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAMS THAT CONNECT OVER 10,000 STUDENTS ANNUALLY TO THEIR NATIONAL PARK. THE VOYAGEURS CLASSROOM INSTILLS WONDER AND STEWARDSHIP IN A YOUNGER, MORE DIVERSE AUDIENCE AND SPARKS AN INTEREST IN OUTDOOR PLAY, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, STEWARDSHIP, AND THE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE REGION.


VISITOR EXPERIENCE & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT - IMPROVING, ADVANCING AND PROMOTING THE PARK TO NEW AUDIENCES AND LONGTIME VISITORS THROUGH PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS THAT EXPAND SUSTAINABLE ACCESS, IMPROVING VISITOR EDUCATION AND RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES, AND GROWING COMMUNITY CONNECTION TO THE PARK, SO THAT VOYAGEURS IS TRULY A PLACE FOR ALL TO ENJOY.


ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP & CULTURAL PRESERVATION - SUPPORTING THE ONGOING STEWARDSHIP AND PRESERVATION OF NATURAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES IN VOYAGEURS NATIONAL PARK BY FUNDING RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION; EXPANDING SCIENCE AND MONITORING; FACILITATING LAND ACQUISITION; FUNDING CULTURAL/HISTORIC PRESERVATION AND TRIBAL ENGAGEMENT; EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THREATS TO THE PARK; PRESERVING DARKNESS IN THE REGION; AND COMBATING THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES AND OTHER THREATS TO WATER QUALITY IN OUR WATERSHED.
