Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
CURATORIAL OPERATIONS MAINTAINED LAKE SUPERIOR CENTER FACILITIES OPERATIONS AND MET/EXCEEDED CDC PROTOCOLS FOR COVID 19. WE WELCOMED 190,849 GUESTS INTO OUR SPACE (INCLUDING THE 1900 EDUCATION PARTICIPANTS MENTIONED BELOW) DURING THE 352 DAYS WE WERE OPEN IN 2021, WHILE OBSERVING COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS PUT INTO PLACE BY THE MN STATE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND CDC.DUE TO COVID 19, WE WERE STILL UNABLE TO OFFER IN PERSON PROGRAMS (E.G. DIVE SHOWS, OTTER FEEDINGS, CAMP, ETC.). WE DID NOT HOLD SUMMER CAMPS IN 2021.
EDUCATION - LAKE SUPERIOR CENTER OFFERS PUBLIC PROGRAMS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF FRESHWATER ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES. WE HAD APPROXIMATELY 1,900 ATTENDEES FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.
