PROGRAM SERVICES OFFERED AND/OR PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZATION TO ALL PERSONS (BOTH WOMEN AND MEN) WHO VISIT THE FACILITY INCLUDE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, ULTRASOUNDS, ASSISTANCE WITH MEDICAL COSTS, PREGNANCY TESTS, STI/STD TESTING, OPTIONS COUNSELING, COMMUNITY REFERRALS, PARENTING CLASSES, ADOPTION REFERRALS AND OTHER ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO CLIENTS WHEN HELP IS NEEDED WITH AN UNPLANNED PREGNANCY AND WHEN MAKING DECISIONS ABOUT THEIR UNBORN CHILD. INCLUDED IN THESE PROGRAM SERVICES IS A "FATHERHOOD INITIATIVE" ADDED IN 2022 FOR REACHING AND PROVIDING ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR FATHERS, AND AN ADDITIONAL EXPANSION OF THE "PRACTICAL FATHERHOOD" PROGRAM TO INCLUDE "MEM MENTORING MEN", PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FATHERS TO MEET WITH MALE ADVOCATES, LEARN SKILLS, DISCUSS FEELINGS, RECEIVE NO-COST COUNSELING, ETC. IN ADDITION, A MEMORIAL GARDEN IS PROVIDED AT ONE OF THE LOCATIONS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A PLACE FOR CLIENTS, FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS TO VISIT AND/OR HONOR AND REMEMBER THE UNBORN CHILDREN.
THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES AN "EARN WHILE YOU LEARN" PROGRAM WHEREIN CLIENTS ARE PROVIDED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES IN VARIOUS AREAS SUCH AS INFANT AND CHILD CARE, BASIC KNOWLEDGE RELATED TO FINANCIAL MATTERS, AND OTHER VARIOUS PRACTICAL SKILLS NEEDED IN LIFE. PARTICIPANTS ARE ABLE TO EARN "POINTS" AS THEY COMPLETE THE EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS AND CAN THEN USE THE POINTS TO "BUY" CAR SEATS, CLOTHING AND OTHER ESSENTIAL ITEMS.
LIFE'S CHOICES IS AN ORGANIZATION QUALIFIED TO RECEIVE FUNDS FROM THE CHOOSE LIFE, INC. PROGRAM WHICH DISTRIBUTES FUNDS FROM SALES OF THE FLORIDA CHOOSE LIFE SPECIALTY LICENSE PLATES. FUNDS RECEIVED ARE INCLUDED IN CONTRIBUTIONS.
