COUNSELING AND CASE MANAGEMENT: JEWISH COMMUNITY SERVICES OF SOUTH FLORIDA, INC. PROVIDES MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING, REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT SERVICES, SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND HIV EDUCATION AND PREVENTION CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICE FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS, CRISIS SURVIVORS, OLDER ADULTS THAT REQUIRE LONG TERM SUPPORT AND HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS. THERE WERE OVER 8,000 MENTAL HEALTH SESSIONS AND 523,676 IN-HOME SERVICE HOURS PROVIDED TO HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS, AMONG OTHER POSITIVE OUTCOMES DURING FY22.
FOOD SUFFICIENCY PROGRAMS: JEWISH COMMUNITY SERVICES OF SOUTH FLORIDA, INC. PROVIDES FOOD, TRANSPORTATION, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE AND CASE MANAGEMENT TO SENIORS. THERE WERE 474 FAMILIES/OVER 1,000 INDIVIDUALS (ADULTS AND CHILDREN) SERVED THROUGH THE KOSHER FOOD BANK. 285,459 MEALS WERE DELIVERED THROUGHOUT OUR COMMUNITY.
