DURING THE YEAR, CPLC COMMUNITY SCHOOLS HAD 113 STUDENTS ENROLLED AT ENVISION HIGH SCHOOL, WITH 11 GRADUATING SENIORS, AND 188 STUDENTS ENROLLED AT TOLTECALLI HIGH SCHOOL, WITH 19 GRADUATING SENIORS.IN ADDITION TO THE REQUIRED STATE ACADEMIC STANDARDS, ALL OF OUR STUDENTS WERE TAUGHT:(1) TO DEVELOP SOCIAL SKILLS,(2) TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO MAKE HEALTHY CHOICES AND ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEM,(3) TO ENHANCE THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY BOTH ORALLY AND IN WRITING,(4) TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO USE ORAL AND WRITTEN LANGUAGE TO ACCOMPLISH GOALS, EXPRESS OPINIONS, AND TO FUNCTION AS PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS,(5) TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO EXPRESS IDEAS,(6) TO INCREASE PARTICIPATION IN A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM OF COMMUNITY SERVICE THAT REFLECTS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS IN A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY AND INTERDEPENDENT WORLD, AND(7) TO INCREASE UNDERSTANDING AND APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE, CONCEPTS, PRINCIPLES, AND THEMES ENCOMPASSED IN THE SOCIAL SCIENCES OF HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY, POLITICAL SCIENCES, ECONOMICS, AND PHILOSOPHY.
