DURING FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2021, THE YUMA COMMUNITY FOOD BANK SERVICED PERSONS LIVING WITHIN YUMA COUNTY AND LAPAZ COUNTY, ARIZONA. THE YUMA COMMUNITY FOOD BANK, INC., LOCATED IN YUMA, ARIZONA, IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ASSIST WITH EMERGENCY FOOD NEEDS OF LOCAL FAMILIES AND REDUCE FOOD COSTS OF CHARITIES BY PROVIDING THEM WITH SURPLUS AND SALVAGE FOOD. THE ORGANIZATION IS A PARTICIPATING MEMBER IN THE STATEWIDE COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS. THESE NETWORKS PROVIDE FOR THE MOVEMENT OF EXCESS AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS FROM LOCAL SOURCES INTO OTHER AREAS WHERE THEY ARE NEEDED.
