THE GREEN VALLEY COUNCIL IS THE RECOGNIZED AND UNIFIED VOICE OF GREEN VALLEY, AZ. OUR BUSNESS MODEL OF "REPRESENTATION WITHOUT TAXATION" SERVES THE RESIDENTS, PROPERTY OWNERS, AND INVESTORS OF THE UNINCORPORATED BOUNDRY DEFINED AREA OF GREEN VALLEY, AZ. THE GVC ENABLES THE COMMUNITY TO FUNCTION AS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER, CITIZED MANAGED COMMUNITY. IN 2022 THE GVC HAD OVER 150 VOLUNTEERS SERVING IN VARIOUS CAPACITIES AND 4 PAID ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF MEMBER. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE GVC IS TO REPRESENT THE COMMUNITY AT THE LOCAL, COUNTY, STATE, FEDERAL AND TRIBAL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT. THE GVC MAINTAINS A CONTRACT WITH PIMA COUNTY, ARIOZNA AND STANDING COMMITTEES CORRESPONDING TO COUNTY GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS. GVC VOLUNTEERS DONATED IN EXCESS OF 4,000 HOURS IN 2022.

THE GREEN VALLEY COUNCIL PROVIDES FOR ADDITIONAL UNMET COMMUNITY NEEDS BY CONTRACTING FOR SERVICES WITH OTHER NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS. IN 2022 THE GVC CONTINUED ITS CONTRACT WITH HOME SERVE, SERVICE WARRANTY PROGRAM THAT HAS BEEN VETTED BY THE GVC, AND THAT PROVIDES REFERRAL FEES, AND THE GVC FOUNDATION INC., A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION, THAT HAS A SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE GVC AND PROVIDES LIMITED PROGRAM RELATED SERVICES.
