ACCELERATOR FOR AMERICA FINDS AND DEVELOPS SOLUTIONS TO ECONOMIC INSECURITY AND SHARES THEM WITH CITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY, FOSTERING INCLUSIVE, LONG-TERM WEALTH BUILDING AND ECONOMIC MOBILITY FOR DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES. IN 2021, WE CONTINUED OUR PANDEMIC RESPONSE SUPPORT THAT BEGAN IN 2020. IN RESPONSE TO FEDERAL SUPPORT IN THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA), WE WORKED WITH GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS, AND NONPROFIT LEADERS TO ESTABLISH STIMULUS COMMAND CENTERS IN CITIES TO SERVE AS LEADING COORDINATORS FOR PLANNING, PRIORITIZING, AND COORDINATING FEDERAL RESCUE AND RECOVERY INVESTMENTS; SINCE THE PASSAGE OF THE BIPARTISAN INFRASTRUCTURE LAW, WE HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH CITIES TO HELP THEM UNDERSTAND AND PREPARE FOR GRANT OPPORTUNITIES.
