THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION IS TO ANY SOCIAL WELFARE PURPOSE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FUNDING AND SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE 2023 INAUGURATION OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND OTHER STATE ACTIVITIES AND FUNCTIONS. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OF THE ABOVE STATEMENTS OF PURPOSE AND POWERS THIS CORPORATION SHALL NOT EXCEPT TO AN INSUBSTANTIAL DEGREE ENGAGE IN ANY ACTIVITIES OR EXERCISE ANY POWERS THAT ARE NOT IN FURTHERANCE OF THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION.

GRANT MADE TO THE CALIFORNIA STATE PROTOCOL FOUNDATION. THE MISSION OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE PROTOCOL FOUNDATION IS TO LESSEN THE BURDEN ON CALIFORNIA TAXPAYERS BY RELIEVING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OF ITS OBLIGATIONS TO FUND CERTAIN EXPENDITURES OF THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE.
