CHRISTIAN CARE MANOR II IS A TWO-BUILDING, 142-UNIT HUD-SUBSIDIZED APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT FOR THE VERY-LOW INCOME ELDERLY 62 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, LOCATED IN PHOENIX, AZ. THE MANOR I BUILDING OPENED IN 1980 AND THE MANOR II BUILDING OPENED IN 1985. THE PROJECT OFFERS EFFICIENCY AND 1-BEDROOM APARTMENTS FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING RESIDENTS. IN LATE 2007 MANOR II BECAME AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY. AVERAGE AGE CURRENTLY IS 78 YEARS OLD. LAUNDRY FACILITIES, LIBRARY, DINING ROOM, ACTIVITY ROOM & WELLNESS CENTER ARE SITE AMENITIES. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE MEMBERSHIP IN THE SENIOR-FIT PROGRAM, FREE CABLE SERVICE, FREE TELEPHONE SERVICE, TRANSPORTATION TO BANKS AND GROCERY STORES, RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, BEAUTY SHOP, CHAPLAIN SERVICES, COMMUNITY REFERRAL SERVICES AND 24-HOUR SECURITY WITH AN (CONT'D ON SCH O)EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEM. ASSISTED LIVING SERVICES INCLUDE THREE MEALS PER DAY, WEEKLY HOUSEKEEPING, LAUNDRY AND 24-HOUR OBSERVATION BY STAFF. CHRISTIAN CARE IS AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN QUALITY INITIATIVES THAT PROMOTE HEALTHY, AFFORDABLE, AND ETHICAL AGING SERVICES IN ASSOCIATION WITH LEADING AGE AND THE HEALTH SERVICES ADVISORY GROUP (HSAG). FOUNDED IN 1979, THE CHRISTIAN CARE COMPANIES BEGAN WITH 96 UNITS OF SUBSIDIZED HOUSING AND A 60-BED NURSING CENTER ON THE PHOENIX CAMPUS. THE CHRISTIAN CARE COMPANIES WERE FOUNDED BY THE NONDENOMINATIONAL CHRISTIAN CHURCHES OF ARIZONA AND ARE GOVERNED BY CORPORATE BOARDS OF DIRECTORS. AT DECEMBER 31, 2021, THE CHRISTIAN CARE COMPANIES OWN AND OPERATE 1,990 UNITS OF MIDDLE-INCOME, MARKET-RATE INDEPENDENT, ASSISTED, AND MEMORY CARE UNITS FOR SENIORS ON SIX CAMPUSES, 338 UNITS OF SUBSIDIZED HOUSING, AND A 68-BED HEALTH CENTER. IN ADDITION, WE PROVIDE ASSISTED LIVING SERVICES TO UP TO 106 RESIDENTS OF OUR SUBSIDIZED HOUSING.BENEFITS OF BEING PART OF A CHRISTIAN CARE COMMUNITY TYPICALLY INCLUDE SHARED HOUSEKEEPING; MAINTENANCE AND SECURITY SERVICES, INCLUDING CALL BUTTON MONITORING; ACCESS TO PRIVATE SCHEDULED TRANSPORTATION; AND COMPUTER LABS WITH HIGH-SPEED INTERNET. RESIDENTS TYPICALLY HAVE ENTREE TO ON-CAMPUS FOOD SERVICE VENUES, ENTERTAINING ACTIVITY PROGRAMS, HEALTH & WELLNESS OPPORTUNITIES AND CHAPLAINCY SERVICES.
