MEADOWBROOK VILLAGE BEGAN WITH A DESIRE TO CREATE A QUALITY RETIREMENT COMMUNITY WHERE CHRIST'S LOVE WOULD BE SHOWN IN THE WAY WE SERVE AND LIVE WITH ONE ANOTHER. MEADOWBROOK WAS FOUNDED BY A LOCAL NON PROFIT FOUNDATION AND IS SUPPORTED BY MEMBERS OF SEVERAL LOCAL CHURCHES. AFTER YEARS OF PLANNING, ANTICIPATION AND PRAYER, MEADOWBROOK VILLAGE CHRISTIAN RETIREMENT COMMUNITY IS NOW FULLY OPERATIONAL. THE INITIAL PHASES CONSIST OF 50 COTTAGES, 54 APARTMENT UNITS, A FULL SERVICE DINING FACILITY AND MANY OTHER AMENITIES. A POOL AND RECREATION FACILITY WAS COMPLETED IN 2012. IN 2020 A NEW BUILDING WAS OPENED PROVIDING 66 ADDITIONAL APARTMENT UNITS. A WALKING TRAIL WHICH INCLUDES A 250-FOOT PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE BORDERS THE NATURAL WETLAND PRESERVE ON THE EASTERN PORTION OF THE 25 ACRE SITE. THE 75 FOOT TALL WORKING DUTCH WINDMILL AND COFFEE HOUSE ARE UNMISTAKABLE LANDMARKS IN THE HEART OF THE CAMPUS.
