SIERRA VIEW HOMES PROVIDES LICENSED SKILLED NURSING CARE TO THE AGED AND OTHERS NEEDING SUCH CARE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED OVER 21,000 PATIENT DAYS OF SERVICE DURING THE YEAR.
THE CORPORATION PROVIDES INTERMEDIARY CARE FOR THE AGED WHO DO NOT REQUIRE SKILLED NURSING CARE. THERE ARE 36 ROOMS (SOME DOUBLE OCCUPANCY) FOR THIS PURPOSE. ADDITIONALLY, A MEMORY CARE FACILITY IS AVAILABLE TO CARE FOR THOSE WITH DEMENTIA. THERE ARE 15 ROOMS (SOME DOUBLE OCCUPANCY) FOR THIS PURPOSE.
THE CORPORATION MAINTAINS RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS (115) TO PROVIDE RELATIVELY LOW-COST HOUSING FOR THE AGED. ABOUT 120 OR MORE ELDERLY PERSONS AND COUPLES ARE SERVED, AT ANY ONE TIME, DURING THE YEAR (DEPENDING ON OCCUPANCY AND WHETHER MARRIED OR SINGLE RESIDENTS ARE RENTING AN APARTMENT). A SINGLE MEMBER LLC (SIERRA VIEW RESIDENCES, LLC) WHOLLY OWNED BY THE CORPORATION OPERATES THE RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS. ALL OF THE NET INCOME OF THE LLC IS DISTRIBUTED TO THE CORPORATION.
