TO PROVIDE MUSIC AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT LESSONS TO AT-RISK YOUTH IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS DURING THE SCHOOL DAY. ADDITIONALLY TO PROVIDE INSTRUMENTS FOR THE AT-RISK STUDENTS WHO WOULD NOT HAVE ACCESS OTHERWISE.

CLASSROOM MENTOR PROGRAM. THESE COSTS INCLUDE THE SALARIES FOR TEACHERS TO GO INTO THE CLASSROOMS COST OF INSTRUMENT REPAIR AND ACQUISITION PAYROLL TAXES FOR THE CLASSROOM TEACHERS AND THE COST OF LIABILITY INSURANCE. THIS PROGRAM HAD THREE TEACHERS IN THREE DIFFERENT SCHOOLS FOR ONE HOUR A WEEK FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR AS A PILOT PROGRAM TO MEASURE THE RESULTS OF SMALL GROUP CLASSROOM COSTS. ROUGHLY 52 STUDENTS WERE SERVED DURING THE COURSE OF THE PILOT PROGRAM LEADING TO A TROMBONE QUARTET WHICH SCORED WELL AT CONTEST AND DECREASED RISK BEHAVIORS IN STUDENTS SERVED. INFORMATION ON ACADEMIC BEHAVIOR WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO NON-PROFIT AT TIME OF FILING.
FUNDRAISING AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION TO SUPPORT ALL PROGRAMS. THESE COSTS INCLUDE FUNDRAISING COSTS FOR THE ANNUAL CHARITY DINNER "JAZZ FOR A CAUSE" THE COST OF MARKETING MATERIAL PRODUCTIONS ALL OFFICE SUPPLIES AND CORRESPONDENCE SUPPLIES ALL NECESSARY INSURANCE OUTSIDE OF THE STANDARD LIABILITY INSURANCE SOFTWARE SUBSCRIPTIONS AND OTHER ITEMS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN ADMINISTRATION OF THE BUSINESS AS WELL AS A SMALL GRANT PROVIDED TO A SIMILAR NON-PROFIT AS PART OF THE CHARITY DINNER.
