CIDCI FOUNDATION IS A CATALYST TO IMPROVE THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT AND INSPIRE INNOVATION. WE FACILITATE THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS, KNOWLEDGE, AND INSIGHTS TO ADDRESS CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN OUR INDUSTRY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

INNOVATION LAB A 6-MODULE PROGRAM, LED BY UC BERKELEY PROFESSOR VIVEK RAO, TAUGHT PARTICIPANTS THE MINDSETS AND SKILLSETS ASSOCIATED WITH THE INNOVATION PROCESS. THE CONTENT FOR THE MODULES WAS DELIVERED ASYNCHRONOUSLY VIA GOOGLE CLASSROOM AND INCLUDED VIDEOS, READINGS, AND DISCUSSION QUESTIONS. INSTRUCTORS PROVIDED EXAMPLE PROBLEM AREAS FOR INDIVIDUALS TO WORK ON THAT GUIDED THEM THROUGH DESIGN RESEARCH, PROBLEM FRAMING, IDEA GENERATION AND SELECTION, PROTOTYPING AND TESTING.


LAUNCHED IN 2022, THE CIDCI FOUNDATION AND SHADOW VENTURES INVITED INDIVIDUALS AND TEAMS FROM UNIVERSITIES TO PRESENT RESEARCH OUTCOMES TO A "WICKED PROBLEM" WITHIN THE AEC INDUSTRY.


FALL FORUM. THREE DAYS OF FREE PROGRAMMING OF PANEL DISCUSSION ABOUT INNOVATIONS IN THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY; FEATURING THE LATEST FROM TECHNOLOGISTS, INNOVATIVE COMPANIES AND BUILDING OWNERS.
