Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
2021 WAS A YEAR OF PROJECT DEVELOPMENT FOR THE NONPROFIT, CENTERED ON OUR CHESTNUT PLANTING PROJECT. WE BUILT A 900-SQUARE-FOOT TREE NURSERY WHERE WE GREW 10,000 CHESTNUT TREES AND DISTRIBUTED THEM WITHIN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. 4000 TREES WERE GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE OF THE CONFLUENCE, EIN: 85-3800892, TO AID IN THEIR MISSION OF WORKING WITH NATIVE YOUTH IN ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE AND EDUCATION. THE REST WENT PRIMARILY TO NEIGHBORS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND COMMUNITIES OF FAITH IN THE PORTLAND METROPOLITAN REGION. EDUCATION PROGRAMS WERE CONDUCTED ONLINE THROUGH VIDEO STREAMING AND SOCIAL NETWORKING PLATFORMS. THIS INCLUDED PROJECT DOCUMENTATION, INSTRUCTION, ANSWERING QUESTIONS, AND THE CREATION OF EDUCATIONAL AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL. WE STARTED AND MAINTAINED AN ONLINE FORUM OF OVER 700 PEOPLE FROM 90 CITIES WORLDWIDE. WE ALSO CONTINUED OUR MARKETING AND OUTREACH AND MAINTAINED OUR FUNDING THROUGH DONATIONS.
