WHILE THESE FAMILIES TRANSITION TO THEIR OWN HOME, THEY NEED ASSISTANCE WITH MANY DIFFERENT THINGS. JUST HOPE INC (JHI) ASSISTS WITH HYGIENE ITEMS, JOB SEARCH, BUDGET BUILDING, AGENCY REFERRALS, CASE MANAGEMENT, SUBSTANCE ABUSE REFERRALS, AND COUNSELING. UNTIL THEY LOCATE PERMANENT HOUSING, JHI'S HOME OFFICE ACTS AS THEIR MAIL CENTER, A PLACE TO USE THE PHONE AND RECEIVE IMPORTANT MESSAGES, AND AN ESCAPE FROM THE HARSH WEATHER CONDITIONS DURING THE DAY. AFTER THEY FIND HOUSING, JHI ASSISTS WITH FURNITURE, CLOTHING, AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS FROM OUR IN-HOUSE THRIFT STORE.

WOMEN LEAD PROGRAM: THIS PROGRAM IS TO ASSIST WOMEN WHO HAVE LITTLE TO NO EMPLOYABLE SKILLS ENTER OR RE-ENTER THE WORKFORCE. WE SET UP TRAINING AND/OR EDUCATION FOR EACH PARTICIPANT TO GET THEM READY FOR A CAREER. WE MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL EMPLOYERS TO CREATE OR OPEN UP POSITIONS FOR THESE WOMEN WHO NEED LIVING WAGE PAYING JOBS TO BETTER PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILIES. WE PROVIDE UNIFORMS AND BUSINESS ATTIRE FROM OUR THRIFT STORE. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM WE ALSO ASSIST IN PAYING HOUSING AND UTILITY DEPOSITS FOR PARTICIPANTS. OUR MISSION WITH THE WOMEN LEAD PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE A SUPPORT SYSTEM TO WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE HOMELESS, AT-RISK, OR EXPERIENCING A CRISIS.


INTERNAL THRIFT STORE: OUR STORE IS OPEN TO OUR CLIENTS AND THE PUBLIC. OUR CLIENTS OBTAIN THE ITEMS THEY NEED THROUGH A VOUCHER PROGRAM AT NO CHARGE. SOME OF OUR CLIENTS HAVE LOST EVERYTHING THEY OWN AND ARE STARTING COMPLETELY OVER SO THE ITEMS FROM OUR THRIFT STORE COME AT GREAT BENEFIT. THE PUBLIC CAN SHOP OUR AFFORDABLE PRICES AND KNOW THAT THEY ARE HELPING SUPPORT OUR PROGRAMS. ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT JUST HOPE PROGRAMS. WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF CLOTHING, SHOES, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, FURNITURE, BEDDING, SEASONAL ITEMS, AND TOYS/ENTERTAINMENT ITEMS. ALL ITEMS IN OUR STORE ARE KINDLY DONATED BY GENEROUS SUPPORTERS.
