UYGHUR CULTURAL ADVANCEMENT ASSOCIATION AIMS TO STRENGTHEN THE UYGHURCOMMUNITY IN DIASPORA BY PROVIDING SPIRITUAL, MENTAL, AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT.IT ALSO STRIVES TO ENSURE THAT THE VIBRANT CULTURE OF UYGHUR PEOPLE WILLCONTINUE TO FLOURISH BY OFFERING CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. AND ITMAKES CONTINOUS EFFORTS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE ONGOING GENOCIDEAND POLITICAL REPRESSION OF THE UYGHUR PEOPLE IN THEIR HOMELAND BY THECHINESE GOVERNMENT.THE UYGHUR CULTURAL ADVANCEMENT ASSOCIATION (UCAA), FOUNDED BY THEUYGHUR COMMUNITY IN THE BAY AREA, MAKES EFFORTS TO RAISE THE AWARENESSABOUT THE ONGOING UYGHUR ATROCITIES AMONG OTHER COMMUNITIES AND ISDEDICATED TO PRESERVING AND PROMOTING UYGHUR LANGUAGE, CULTURE ANDHISTORY WITHIN THE LOCAL UYGHUR COMMUNITY. THE UCAA WILL ALSO PROVIDESUPPORT FOR THE CONCENTRATION CAMP SURVIVORS AND FOR OTHER NEWLY ARRIVEDUYGHURS WHO NEED HELP TO SMOOTHLY INTEGRATE INTO AMERICAN SOCIETY.
