SCHOOL CARE TEAM HOSTS PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING SAFE, SUPPORTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS. THEIR WORKSHOPS TEACH EDUCATORS HOW TO BUILD TRUST AND HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS WITH STUDENTS. THE ORGANIZATION COACHES EDUCATORS ON HOW TO PREPARE STUDENTS TO LEARN AND SET THEM UP FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS THROUGH PROMOTING EMOTIONAL REGULATION AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTHY HABITS. DURING 2023-204, SCHOOL CARE TEAM FACILITATED 31,932 STUDENT EXPERIENCES. TEACHERS USING THE EVIDENCE-BASED KIMOCHIS PROGRAM REPORTED AN INCREASE IN STUDENTS TRYING TO WORK OUT PROBLEMS WITH OTHERS BEFORE GETTING ADULT HELP, FROM 5% TO 59%. OUR REACH WAS FELT IN 71 SCHOOLS IN 15 COUNTIES IN THE NORTHERN INDIANA REGION, AND SCT WORKED IN 24 SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
