IN 2021 RED MEDIA CO-PUBLISHED A BOOK TITLED "THE RED DEAL: INDIGENOUS ACTION TO SAVE OUR EARTH" BY THE RED NATION. WITH THIS BOOK RELEASE, RED MEDIA AND RED NATION DONATED MORE THAN 200 COPIES OF THE RED DEAL TO INDIGENOUS ORGANIZATIONS, STUDENTS, AND LIBRARIES. FOLLOWING A SUCCESSFUL BOOK LAUNCH, RED MEDIA PRODUCED TWO AUDIO AND VIDEO PODCASTS, THE RED NATION PODCAST AND RED POWER HOUR, THAT SERVE AS PLATFORMS FOR INDIGENOUS WRITERS, HISTORIANS, AND POLITICAL THINKERS. WE FORMALIZED OUR STRUCTURE FOR THE YEAR AND OBTAINED OUR 501(C)(3) STATUS. RED MEDIA WAS ALSO A RECIPIENT OF THE MARGUERITE CASEY FOUNDATION GRANT. THESE ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE RELEVANT TO RED MEDIA'S MISSION TO SUSTAIN A PLATFORM FOR INDIGENOUS STORYTELLING AND BY OFFERING SUPPORT TO CONTENT CREATORS, WRITERS, AND ORGANIZERS TO BOLSTER POSITIVE PORTRAYALS OF INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES.
