ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE: (A) TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY OF LOCAL MEDIA TO PROVIDE ENHANCED SERVICES TO THEIR COMMUNITIES AND INCREASE THE REVENUES IN SERVICE OF THEIR PUBLIC SERVICE MISSION; (B) TO DEVELOP SHARED SERVICES AND INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLOGIES THAT SUPPORT LOCAL MEDIA; (C) TO STRENGTHEN AND EXPAND LOCAL MEDIA SERVICES SO THAT LOCAL COMMUNITIES NATIONWIDE ARE PROVIDED WITH IN-DEPTH INFORMATION, UNBIASED NEWS, AND DIVERSE CULTURAL PROGRAMMING AND CONTENT; (D) TO CREATE OR FACILITATE THE DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT OF LOCAL MEDIA SERVICES THAT IMPROVE AND ENHANCE EDUCATION AND INFORMATION IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY; (E) TO ENABLE AND PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE LOCAL MEDIA FOR COMMUNITIES NATIONWIDE; (F) TO DEVELOP AND FACILITATE SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM FINANCINGS IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL MEDIA (G) TO EDUCATE, PROVIDE RESOURCES AND SUPPORT LOCAL NEWSPAPER PUBLISHERS AND OTHER COMMUNITY MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS WITH A SET OF CRITICAL SERVICES AND SUPPORT DESIGNED TO ENSURE THE LONG TERM EDUCATIONAL, ECONOMIC AND CIVIC SERVICES TO THEIR COMMUNITIES, AND TO PROVIDE INTENSIVE, LONG TERM AND ONSITE ADVISORY SERVICES TO LOCAL COMMUNITY-ORIENTED NEWSPAPERS SEEKING TO CREATE NEW, SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MODELS.
