CLASSICAL MUSIC INSPIRES AND RESTORES THE HUMAN SPIRIT. KMFA CLASSICAL 89.5 HANDCRAFTS EXCEPTIONAL CLASSICAL MUSIC EXPERIENCES ON-AIR, ONLINE, AND IN COMMUNITY. KMFA 89.5 IS AN INDEPENDENT PUBLIC CLASSICAL RADIO STATION PROVIDING A 24/7 CLASSICAL MUSIC SERVICE TO APPROXIMATELY 80,000 LISTENERS EACH WEEK. KMFA BROADCASTS PERFORMANCES OF LOCAL MUSIC GROUPS, EXPANDING APPRECIATION OF LOCAL CULTURAL RESOURCES. KMFA BROADCASTS NATIONALLY AND LOCALLY PRODUCED CLASSICAL MUSIC PROGRAMMING TO APPROXIMATELY 80,000 LISTENERS PER WEEK. WEEKLY LOCAL PROGRAMS SUPPORT AND PROMOTE THE ARTS COMMUNITY, E.G. CLASSICAL AUSTIN, ANCIENT VOICES, FILM SCORE FOCUS, AND OUR LISTEN LOCAL INITIATIVE THAT CONDUCTS INTERVIEWS, LIVE BROADCASTS, ARTICLES AND WEB FEATURES.
